Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG)

The SEPAG is a state mandated, parent driven group that provides input to the district on policies, programs, practices and services that have an impact on students with disabilities. The focus is on system level challenges. Meetings are held throughout the school year.
Some goals of the SEPAG include:
  • Improve educational outcomes and well-being for all students, including those with disabilities
  • Identify unmet needs
  •  Shape the development of programs, services, and policies
  •  Improve district culture and climate
  •  Develop shared goals with the district
  •  Be a resource for parents who may need information and support
  •  Provide input about resource allocation
