Number Three School awarded January's Staff Member of the Month! This month our winner of the Golden Apple is Samantha Weston. Our Starbucks loving Ms. Weston has been here at Number Three School for the past 10 years! She has worked in Fairview Public Schools as a third and fourth grade teacher as well as an Extended Day Program teacher. This year she will also be coaching Girls Softball. Ms. Weston is always willing to help out her coworkers and goes the extra mile to show how much she cares. Her creative, upbeat, energetic personality keeps her students excited and engaged in learning. Congratulations Ms. Weston!! 🍎🏆👏
M4 students completed a 300 piece Nickelodeon Puzzle.
Ms. May received 2 puzzles from her #3 School Secret Santa (Ms. Baker) and her students completed one during their free time.
It was a thrill to watch them place the last piece in and see all of their proud faces light up.

Our Pre- K Holiday show was a Wonderful Celebration of the Season! The children dazzled family and friends with their wonderful songs, festive dancing and bright smiles. They worked hard to learn their songs, sing with joy and spread holiday cheer to everyone!

The Winter Wonderland Window Contest Award Ceremony was today, December 19, 2024, at Number Three School Annex. Ms. Pepaj's Class A-5 won the gold medal for the best window. Mrs. Basile's Class B-6 came in second, winning the silver medal. Ms. Clark's Class B-9 took third and was so happy to win the bronze. The School Community had so much fun decorating their windows this holiday season!

Enzina Bruzzesi Named the "Golden Apple" Winner at Number Three School Annex!
Enzina has been a general education/bilingual teacher for the Fairview School District for the last 25 years. She has worked with students K to 8 in all four school buildings. kindergarten and first grade students bring her the most joy as they learn and grow so quickly.
Enzina has been part of the Number Three School Annex family for 12 years. She is currently teaching a general education first grade class. She mentors three teachers in the building. She serves on many school committees to help improve school climate and academics. Enzina does all of this with kindness, patience, and grace.
A Heart Warming Military Homecoming!
One of our Kindergarten students experienced an unforgettable moment when her dad returned from overseas deployment and surprised her at school! The Heart Felt reunion was met with applause , cheers and smiles from classmates and teachers who shared in this special moment! This touching scene highlighted the service and sacrifice of our military families. Welcome Home! Here's to creating new memories and enjoying this precious time together!

Mrs. Castaldo has been part of Fairview Public Schools for 18 years and here at Number Three School for the past 13 years. Mrs. Castaldo has worked as a first grade, second grade, and special education teacher. She is an asset to our school and is always willing to help both students and staff. Mrs. Castaldo has a big heart and always puts the best interest of her students first. Her sense of humor, patience and passion for teaching brings joy to our students and staff every day! Congratulations Mrs. Castaldo for receiving this honor during the month of giving!
Ms. Ferreri's class warmed up with a good book and cozy socks! There is nothing like reading near a fireplace with a friend on a blustery, frigid day!
Mrs. Acquaviva's 4th grade students are enjoying Math, ELA and STEM with hands on activities.
Ms. Huet's 4th grade class wrapped up the SEL unit, with Mrs. Picinich, Growth Mindset and Goal-setting by participating in a cup stacking challenge. Groups had to stack six cups in a pyramid using strings and rubber bands only. They were not allowed to use their hands. Before the challenge, students discussed goals, strategies and necessary adjustments. Winners of the challenge were: Kaylee, Beverly, Jayden and Breynel. Way to Go!
