The mission of the Fairview School Counseling program is to support the academic, emotional, social, and career development of all students. We are dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment where students can explore their strengths, overcome challenges, and reach their fullest potential. Through guidance, advocacy, and support, we work collaboratively with students, families, and educators to foster a positive learning experience and help students become responsible, resilient, and successful individuals.

ChrisAnne Nielsen School Counselor, M.A.

As a dedicated and compassionate school counselor, I am committed to supporting the academic, emotional, and social growth of students. With a strong background in counseling, I strive to create a nurturing environment where all students feel safe, valued, and empowered to succeed.

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and have experience working with students through various stages of development, helping them navigate different challenges . I provide individual counseling, small group support, and classroom guidance to address a wide range of issues, including academic concerns, social skills, self-esteem, stress management, and conflict resolution.

My approach is grounded in empathy and collaboration, working closely with students, teachers, and parents to ensure that each student’s needs are met and their potential is fully realized. I am passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to thrive both in and outside of the classroom.

My goal is to empower students to build resilience, improve their well-being, and cultivate a positive outlook on their future.
